Local Conservatives were out and about talking to residents in Leigh this morning by knocking on doors and by attending the Apple Press Day at The Plough. Lots of local issues were raised with us, including speeding on rural roads, broadband connectivity on Dean Oak Lane, congestion in Reigate and Dorking, and pharmacy provision among other issues.
At the Apple Press Day, our Association Chairman Marisa Heath, County Councillor for Dorking Rural Helyn Clack and Digital Officer Taylor O'Driscoll spoke to local businesses and residents about important local issues, and enjoyed some fantastic apple juice, cakes and burgers from local businesses.
Overall, it was a fun day supporting residents and local businesses, and shows that we are out and about talking to residents all year round.
