Police and Crime Commissioner Lisa Townsend, the Chief Constable of Surrey Police and the Mole Valley Borough Commander met residents at a meeting about policing in Mole Valley at Therfield School in Leatherhead.
There was a very thorough set of presentations on both Surrey-wide and also specific Mole Valley issues around policing. This included priorities on preventing anti-social behaviour, stopping burglaries, preventing rural crime, work on limiting speeding and car crime and more. The Panel answered a variety set questions on everything from the new East Surrey Police Base in Leatherhead, to mental health support, how to report issues and speeding motorcyclists.
Cllr Tim Hall, County Councillor for Leatherhead and Fetcham East said "It was a very impressive presentation on how Surrey Police is working with Mole Valley's local Communities."
Lisa Townsend is currently engaging residents to shape the new Police & Crime Plan. Have your say on policing priorities across the next three years by completing the Police & Crime Plan consultation survey here.
